Acceptable Use Policy

1. Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly forbidden from uploading, capturing, transmitting, or distributing:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We maintain a zero-tolerance stance. All CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) alongside full legal cooperation.
- Nudity or sexually explicit media, including any suggestive or implied adult themes.
- Media featuring minors unless you hold legal guardianship or have obtained explicit parental consent.
- Visuals of extreme violence, gore, or material promoting self-harm, eating disorders, and suicide.
- Hate speech and harassment — any content targeting or dehumanizing individuals based on race, religion, origin, gender, or orientation.
- Intellectual property violations, including content that breaches copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights.
- PII or doxxing, such as sharing someone's private contact details without their permission.
- False identities or the impersonation of individuals, family, or professional entities.
- Any activities that violate U.S. federal, state, or regional legislation.
- Fraudulent schemes, phishing, unsolicited spam, or unauthorized commercial advertisements.
Forbidden Content
By using our platform, you also pledge not to:
Employ automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to crawl ZipClips or harvest its data.
Deconstruct the application, evade security protocols, or attempt to breach our secure servers and user profiles.
Distribute malicious software, viruses, or coding designed to harm ZipClips or its community of users.
Actively disrupt our digital services or place excessive technical stress on our hosting infrastructure.
Take content from a private family Group and share it externally without the consent of all parties involved.
Register multiple fraudulent identities or share your personal login credentials with third parties.
Harass the dedicated ZipClips support staff or other members via any official communication path.
Operational Standards
By using our platform, you also pledge not to:
- Employ automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to crawl ZipClips or harvest its data.

Media Featuring Children
ZipClips serves as a secure space for families to exchange photos of their children. This is a core function of our service. By uploading media of a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian, or have secured the necessary permission to share within your private Groups.
Content featuring children is never public; it is strictly restricted to members of your chosen Group. We never utilize your children's media for AI training purposes and never trade this data with outside parties.
Enforcement Procedures
Upon discovering content or conduct that breaches these terms, ZipClips may take the following actions:
- Immediate content deletion
- Issuing a formal warning
- Short-term account suspension
- Permanent ban from the service
- Direct reporting to law enforcement for CSAM or credible violent threats
Our oversight includes automated detection (strictly for CSAM), community reporting, and human moderation. Actions involving CSAM cannot be appealed. For all other moderation, users can request a formal review via email.
Reporting Abuse and Blocking Users
ZipClips provides two distinct pathways for managing inappropriate interactions or content:
- **Flagging content.** Long-press any image to select "Report content." These alerts are sent to our safety team. We assess all submissions within 24 hours, deleting non-compliant media and banning repeat offenders.
- **Blocking individuals.** Long-press a photo to choose "Block this user." Their media will be hidden from your view immediately, and our team will review the user for potential policy violations.
- **Exiting Groups.** You maintain the right to leave any Group you have joined at any time through the setting screen.

Updates to Usage Terms
We reserve the right to modify these rules as ZipClips grows. Significant amendments will be sent to your email. Your continued platform usage after updates confirms your agreement with the new ZipClips policy.
